While covering your face with a bandana or folded fabric from around your home can reduce the spread of coronavirus by blocking outgoing germs from coughs or sneezes, they might not be as effective in protecting the wearer from incoming germs. The fit and quality of a mask are key differences here.

This is why Ninfea uses 100% OEKO-TEX certified cotton. It is both hypoallergenic and water repelling, with a BFE (Bacterial Filtration Efficiency) of 99%. Despite its effectiveness, it is comfortable and minimizes restricted breathing.

Wash your hands before putting your mask on. Loop it over your ears, positioning it over your nose and mouth and securing it under your chin. Our maks fit nice and snugly against the sides of your face.

It’s important that it completely covers your mouth and nose when you are in public. Wearing a mask is part of following good health habits during this unusual time, as is staying two meters from others, avoiding contact with people that are ill, and sanitizing/ washing your hands often.

When you’re home, remove the mask using the ear loops, and prep it for washing. Be careful not to touch your eyes or face, and wash your hands immediately.

Our masks are approved by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità in Italy, and in fact were the first of its type to receive this approval in Italy (surgical washable/reusable type II masks). They are also CE certified.

Our masks are only available in white.

The masks are designed to ensure an excellent fit without needing a nose clip. Further, the mask is designed to be used and machine washed 20 times, which would likely damage a nose clip.

Shipping costs are € 12.00 + VAT, regardless of order quantity and with expected delivery in 5-7 working days. As of now, unfortunately the cost of shipping is a variable that we cannot control. Shipping companies have increased their costs to ensure prompt delivery during this period, even to more remote areas.
